Welcome to Encore Costume Exchange! Here at ECE, we provide dancers and families with a more affordable alternative to the typical costume-buying process, all while limiting textile waste.
ECE was founded in 2022 in the Tampa Bay Area. ECE works closely with dancers, teachers, and studio owner to ensure that everyone has better access to dance costumes.
Meet the founder and creator, Maria Brigidi!
Maria grew up dancing and performing in the Philadelphia area before moving to Florida. Here on the West coast of Florida, Maria studied Applied Dance and Entrepreneurship at The University of Tampa. She was eager to combine her love for the dance community with her knowledge in business, so she decided she was ready to launch her own company. Encore Costume Exchange was founded in hopes of being the tool that she needed to positively impact not only the Tampa Bay Area, but families and the dance community as a whole.
